Friends at the Boonshoft

Frank and I went to the Boonshoft Museum this morning. We met up with a co-worker of mine, Kristen, her son Dillon {20 months} and her hubby. We had a really nice time exploring the museum, climbing, jumping, playing... I only took a few pictures because I sent most of the time chasing after Frank5... but a few cute ones none the less.

Closet...

While I was getting Frank's bath water ready... I couldn't find him... then to my surprise I saw this...

Frank climbed into his closet and closed the door... he was playing with his trains and I guess wanted to find the perfect hide and seek location...

He thinks he is so smart... I guess one more thing i need to keep him out of...

Happy Birthday Grandma Hayes!

Today is Grandma Hayes's Birthday!!

Here are five things you might not know about her... {that you didn't learn last year}

1. She teaches STEM at Westerville Central High School
2. A while ago I introduced her to facebook... now she is addicted... and has been trying to get me to play farmville or farm town ever since...
3. Last weekend she was in NYC... shopping, seeing shows, hanging out with dear friends {one of whom is the producer of the new Broadway hit MEMPHIS!}
4. She is not a fan of spicy food... and my father, brother, and I are... she will definitely let you know that she does not like the spicy food.
5. Though she is not a "girly girl" one of her favorite things to do is get a pedicure! {but who can blame her??} I am very excited to celebrate her birthday with her because we will go get pedicures!! Happy Birthday MOMMY!

Matthew's 2nd Birthday Party!

This afternoon we went to Matthew Nieman's 2nd birthday party! {It makes me sad to think Matty is -TWO- because that means my baby will be -TWO- in three short weeks!!}. Frank had a great time playing with Matthew and the other kids...

Matty opening his presents with his daddy Michael

Excited little boy for LEGOS!

Frank took ALL the toys out of the back room and brought them to the living room for all the kiddos to play with... sorry Katie...

He is such a little hoarder... here he is hoarding fridge magnets...

TWO little boys in ONE chair

Happy Birthday Matthew!

He even blew out the candle! Way to go Matty

Frank was so excited to get cake... he plopped down on the kitchen floor...

No one was taking this cake away! I think it is safe to say he enjoyed the cake...

Dinosaur Train on PBS

I am OBSESSED with this show Dinosaur Train on PBS. I am not a big dinosaur person... I never was as a child... but when I put on a show and they use the words -HYPOTHESIS- -OBSERVATION- and -INFERENCE- it is like music to a science teacher's ears {especially when many freshman in high school cannot apply these terms} The stories are cute... kind of weird... these dinosaurs get on a train and time travel to different places during when the dinosaurs roamed the earth... however they walk the kids through the scientific method... LOVE IT!!

COSI with friends

Saturday morning we met up with my friend Stephanie (White) Reinfrank {we went to high school together... can you believe it??}. Steph has two little boys JP (age 4) and Jude (18 months). We communicate all the time on facebook, just have never found the time to get the boys together since they moved back to Ohio. Since we are mommy's of little boys.. and we both have funny kiddos that are "little scientists" so of course COSI was the perfect location! We had a great time and hope to hang out with them next time we are in town.

Stephanie and I with the boys. JP, Jude and Frank

Frank really likes the water table

He is never popular at water tables... and here you see evidence why...

JP and Frank... little scientists

Frank NEVER shows interest in anything medical... AT all... I have countless times tried to get a picture of him doing -anything- slightly medical... of course I had to jump into action and snap this rarest of rare sighting!

He put it right to his heart... further proof he -does- watch us but REFUSES to appease us in any way by demonstrating his knowledge/skills upon command...

He even came up to me and wanted me to -listen- he knew exactly where mommy's heart was too!

Playing with the balls at COSI

JP and Frank were hilarious! They both have to inspect everything to see how it works... maybe future classmates in an Engineering program...

Frank, JP and Jude... what cute lttleguys!

Rat Basketball

COSI is known for its rat basketball... it is exactly as it sounds... behaviorists train rats to play basketball... Frank loved it...

watching the rats with Mimi

He wanted to reach in and pet them...

EYE love this little man!

Monkeys climbing on the bed...

Frank is such a climber... my mom did not think he could climb up on the bed in my brothers room... I knew he could... and so did he...

Little Gym Class Show Week!

The Last week of the semester is called "Show Week" at Frank's Little Gym Class. The parents, family members, and friends can come and see the kiddo's progress over the 20 week semester! Aunt Molly was nice enough to join us for Frank's last class. It is crazy to see how little Frank was 20 weeks ago... and when we started classes 6 months ago. We love gym classes! Life is a bit crazy these next few weeks... not only am I teaching high school full time... but also two classes two nights a week at Sinclair... so we are going to take a short break from classes until spring quarter... I am already sad to take these next few weeks off... Here are the pictures from Show Week... **WARNING if you think 15 pictures is too many to take of our little man at gym class... do not proceed any further...

Frank waiting for his stamp... He is already learning how to talk to the ladies...

Ok... maybe he will need a little help with -picking- up the girls... but hey... he's got time...
