Ragnar

On Friday/Saturday Frank4 competed in the Ragnar Relay here in DC... if you don't know what this is... basically 12 people run 200 miles in 1-2 days... all day/overnight... it is craziness! Frank was the 6th runner so he ran 20.8 miles of the 200 total. His team "Battleship Bethesda" was a mixed team and did quite well! Crossing the finish line first {it was a delayed start so they really placed 19th} with a total time of aprox 27 hours! Way to go Frank4!

The race ended at the National Harbor... Frank5 was very interested in the fish

6 Months Old with the Gund Bear

Charlie is 6 Months old! He is growing so big at 18lbs 5oz and 28 inches long . He still looks {and Measures} a lot like Frank but is starting to get his own look too {he has a lot more hair than frank did!}. He is still our happy social little man. He is starting to sit up on his own and beginning to crawl {army crawl} around the floor. He loves putting anything and everything in is mouth! we have sworn he was getting a tooth for the past month now... but who knows when it will come. He LOVES to eat! He is starting to get the hang of puffs and finger foods, and really likes pears and peas. Charlie's favorite toys are his exersaucer, sophie the giraffe, and leap frog table. He is our handsome little man.

Charlie 6 Month Check-Up!

Today was Charlie's 6 Month Check-Up and he is getting to be such a big boy! He weighs in at 18lbs 5oz {50th Percentile} and 28 inches long {90th Percentile} and his head measured at 17cm which is similar to Frank and 6 months just a little -smaller- IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT! He is our HAPPY, -fluffy- man! I mean come on... just look at those thighs! He didn't even really cry when he got his vaccines. What a Champ!

Sunday we went over to Meghan's house to help celebrate Keira's 2nd birthday! Of course we had yummy cupcakes!

Feeding the Monster

Charlie LOVES to eat! He is a crazy man with food! He will try to grab the spoon and feed himself... and when he gets the spoon... it is all over!

Charlie is also -starting- to be a little more self sufficient! He is our big boy!

College Football

Charlie heard it was the start of College football... and he was so excited he couldn't sleep!

Baby Food

I have been making Charlie's "Food" like I would make Frank's when he was a baby. It is super easy (and very inexpensive) i have really been liking this website for ideas for Charlie and Frank. While pureeing foods I just thought it was too pretty to not take a picture!

First Day of School

Friday was FINALLY Frank's first day of Pre-School! He was s excited to go back to school and make new friends. He misses his old school in Dayton so much... he still asks for his old friends by name... so when i told him he would get to make new friends he was very excited. We like within walking distance to school, so I had been telling Frank for weeks we would walk to school... however on the first day... it was raining! but Frank still really wanted to walk... so we walked... Charlie -as usual- was a good sport!

Weekend Visitors!

For Labor Day weekend the Hartge grandparents and Aunt Molly (and Hersey) came to visit us! we had a lot of fun with our visitors and got to meet some extended family that lives in the DC area.

Sunday at Mass we ran into Deacon Nick Droll! He used to be at St. Matthew in Gahanna and now he is with us at St. Bernadette in Silver Spring. Small World!!
