Call Him STYLE...

I like to think Frank5 tends to be a styling dude... but at TWO he is already expressing his won style... Frank loves to wear his snow boots... and today during nap time he found his new rain boots... apparently they were a nap time necessity...

Happy Birthday Grandpa Hartge!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Frank {Frank3}
Here are five things you might not know about him... that you didn't learn last year...
1. He is currently an RCIA sponsor at St. Matthew for the first time ever.
2. Frank 3 is a fan of obscure television shows... his favorite being The Prisoner.
3. After college he traveled around Europe for a few weeks.
4. Grandpa Frank is an avid follower of Fr. Z... He even met him in October at the Call to Holiness Conference.
5. In his younger years he participated in some winter recreational activities, one being a snow mobile trip in Yellowstone National Park with his Jacobs Group Coworkers; the other was while he lived in Milwaukee he used participate in Curling, a popular event of the current Winter Olympics.

2 Years Old with the Gund Bear

I tried to take Frank's 2 year Gund Bear Pictures... Last time I took pics was 18 Months...I guess I will need to try again or get a good one taken when he has his professional photos taken next month... he was more interested in the cars then in his bear... But that is a two year old for you...

Here are some of his Favorite things at 2 years:

Foods: Still loves blueberries, grapes, frozen berries, eggs! Cheese, rice, chicken, corn... pretty much anything you put in front of him...

Toys: Cars, trucks, trains! He loves his train table... hot wheels track... books, blocks, coloring, stickers

Movies: Cars, Toy Story {"Woody! Buzz"}, Monsters Inc. {MONSTERS!}, Madagascar {Animals!}

Activities: climbing, jumping, hide and seek, wrestling with anyone, playing with friends, reading books,...

Words: Frank loves to talk! He has turned into quite the parrot {be careful what you say around him!}... he is currently working on forming -small sentences- suck as "Loook biiig truck..." and using pronouns such as "me do" or "me try"... of course this grammar still needs improvement.
Checking out cars and not caring about his bear...

Droping the Gund....

Guess he really is a big man now... too big for his bear

2 Year Check-Up

Monday Frank had is 2 year check-up!

He has grown quite a bit since his 18 Month Check-up!
Daddy Frank was able to go with us and Frank did such a good job with his visit. He is growing quite nicely weighing in at 27lbs 13oz {50th percentile} and grew an inch and a half standing at 35.5 inches tall {75th Percentile} his head measured 19 1/2 inches {90th percentile} He is growing quite nicely... starting to slow down a bit {thank goodness!} and we think he is absolutely perfect. He only had to recieve one vaccine today HepA. and barely even cried... he even said -Thank You- to the nurse as she was leaving... he really liked the band-aid... He had to get some blood drawn for the yearly lead level test... and was not too pleased with that... He is now done with vaccines {except seasonal flu} and won't need another check-up until he is three!

On the Right Track

Great-grandma Burns got Frank some hot wheels track for his birthday... and Daddy Frank decided to build some super cool tracks using the stair case... then eventually looping around the house... it keeps them occupied for hours... He will scream in delight with every car... It is the most beautiful sound you could ever year... you cannot help but laugh and smile...Here are some pictures of the cars/track we are constantly stepping over when going up and down the stairs...

Busy at Work

Watch it go! Perfect car placement...

Down the stairs to the loop... the launches into the basket...

Valentine's Day!

I put Frank in the SAME shirt he wore last year for Valentine's Day... it was a little snug... but perfect fit for ONE DAY! I was attempting to get pictures for -thank you notes- for his birthday party guests... maybe I will have to wait till next year if he will be more cooperative...

Happy Valentines Day!

All smiles... this is his THIRD Valentines day!

The best photo I could get... maybe next year...

Sledding at Metzger

Valentines Day we took Frank sledding at Metzger Park... the park behind my parents house that I used to play in as a child. Frank loves snow and daddy was extremely excited to take him out in the snow. The hills were a lot more tame then I remember... but perfect for a little man... who was using the sled Grandpa Hayes made! CAUTION: There are a lot of pictures... Grandma Hayes took quite a bit of pictures....

Our little family in the snow

Frank loves the snow

Woooahhhh! This is fun!

What a silly little man

Friends at the Party!

Frank is so blessed to have so many wonderful people in his life. Can you believe we had 10 little boys at his birthday party!? On top of Friends and family this was one full house... {much like last year...} It was so fun to see all the little BOYS {yes they were all boys... apparently there are no little girls in the columbus area} run around and play... and believe it or not they all played quite nicely.

Mommies and their little men
