Just some more pictures of baby Frank this evening. We would like to say hello to Grandpa Hayes who had back surgery today and is recovering in the hospital. We hope these pictures make his recovery go more smoothly :)

Sleeping Like a Baby

At 4 1/2 months baby frank is not quite sleeping through the night but he is making every effort to sleep in during the week days (when we have to get up for work) but of course not on the weekends (when we could be sleeping in too...) He is such a funny sleeper twisting and contorting his body into what has to be the most uncomfortable sleeping positions possible... but it seems to work for him... another funny baby frank quirk is he is very refined and delicate with his hands... he typically will fold them or place them in his lap... or together like in the picture below... what an interesting child we have!

Downtown Photo Shoot

Here we are continuing to take pictures of baby frank at famous landmarks around Memphis. We took him downtown to Beale street and to the Peabody hotel to see the ducks... too bad they were all sleeping while we were there. He was a very good baby and quite cooperative with our photo shoot.

Sun Studio

Frank4 and I decided we needed to get pictures of baby frank in memphis because we will be moving home in less than 2 weeks. After church our first stop was Sun Studio the birthplace of rock and roll. Sun Studio was opened by Sam Phillips in 1950. Many famous musicians have recorded there such as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Wii Baby

Last night Brandon, a post-doc in Frank's lab had a wii party. We got to play guitar hero and dance dance revolution. We definitely need to get a wii someday because frank4 and I always have a blast when we get o play it... baby frank even seemed to enjoy it.

Hawaiian Shirt Day!

Grandpa Hayes always wears hawaiian shirts on fridays... so today baby frank did as well. He is getting so big! It is hard to believe I will be moving back to ohio in two weeks! We are very excited to be home with our families again!

4 Month Check-Up

Today was baby Franks 4 month check-up with Dr. Sepulveda. His last check up was at 2 months. He is 26.5 inches long (95th percentile) weighed in at 16lbs (75-90th percentile) and his head circumference is 17 inches (75th percentile). So basically he is a big growing boy! He definitely knows how to charm people, charming his doctor and the nurses at the pediatricians office... he is going to be trouble! He was a perfect boy during his check up and received 4 shots and one oral vaccine. He only cried briefly after the shots, then appeared to be perfectly fine. He definitely knows how to charm the ladies... he had the doctors and nurses cooing at him as we were leaving... we will be back in Ohio in about two weeks!

Today the Frank's and I joined the McEvoy's for another nice afternoon at the pool... and no baby frank did not removes Justina's bikini top this time...however, Baby Frank has turned into such a little fish. He loves the pool... and especially now he loves to kick and splash around it is so much fun!

Independent Man

Apparently daddy and I do not hold the bottle right for baby frank... so he demands to do it himself. He can't really hold the bottle correctly either but seems to really want to. I think food just cannot come fast enough for him! Here he is eating some peas out of his feeder bottle... I think most of it ended up on him then in his mouth...
