Christmas Time is Here!

Upon our return to Dayton, I set up the Christmas tree and decorated for Christmas. Frank was really excited to see his tree when he awoke from his nap!

His ornament this year is a Mickey Mouse Train! He gets really excited and points it out to use when he sees it on the tree.

Frank seems to like to put baby Jesus on the roof and the angel in the barn... I hope this does not reflect his feelings toward his new baby brother/sister!

COSI with Friends!

Saturday morning in Columbus, Frank5 and I met up with some friends at COSI. We had a great time playing before going home to watch the OSU vs. Michigan game. Frank enjoyed playing with all the cool COSI toys.

Frank, Matthew and Jude were really impressed by the elevator

All the boys had fun at the water table

Give Thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving! Here is some fabulous art work that Frank created... it quickly became the centerpiece for our Thanksgiving feast! I may be biased... but I think he is quite the artist!

I was really sick over Thanksgiving and was unable to participate in the Turkey Trot for the first time in 5 years! Frank4 Had his best run time ever and WON a pie this year!!

23 Week... sneak peak

At 23 weeks the baby is a Papaya! {or an ear or corn... or a squash}

Wednesday I got to take a look at the growth of our new baby! We did not find out the gender {though I think everyone has their opinion on boy or girl} However he/she is growing very nicely!

Weighing in at approx. 1lb and 2 oz... Growth appears to be right on track!
He or she is looking right at you

The Dr. was so impressed by the size of his/her foot! All measurements suggest another LONG baby is in store...

Happy Anniversary

Happy Anniversary to THIS GUY! {the big one not the little one... but I guess if one is really keeping track we could ALL celebrate!}

Many years ago... ok NINE...
{but that is a long time for two 27 year olds}
two people fell in love at a -magical- place called Ohio University

In chemistry lab over a Bunsen burner... perhaps it was the fetal pig dissection in bios who knows... whatever the beginnings... one could say it -IS-

{At least in my humble opinion}

Happy Anniversary to quite possibly the greatest husband this girl could have ever imagined. I love that our anniversary falls so close to thanksgiving because it will never cease to remind me how thankful I am to have you to share my life with!

Happy Veterans Day!

Happy Veterans Day! It always makes me sad that Daddy Frank has to go to work on Veterans Day! He never seems to complain though... at least he is on on call Thursday night...

Thank you to all those veterans in our lives... Thank you to the men and women in the military who serve and continue to serve to protect our country... today is your day and I hope that everyone takes a little time to honor and celebrates this special day!

My FAVORITE veteran circa 2005

Looking very handsome as usual! I know we are now technically "Navy" but the Marine Corps uniform is definitely my favorite one... especially with this guy wearing it!

Half Way There! {More or less} and the size of a Cantaloupe

We are very excited to meet the newest addition when he or she gets here!
