Just like Joe

Grandma Hartge pulled out uncle Joe's old rocking chair from when he was a baby. I took some pictures of baby Frank in the rocking chair and looking at the picture of Joe in the same chair we think they are approximately the same age... and I think looking quite similar... what do you think???

More Friends

Today Frank4, Frank5 and myself had lunch with our dear friends Michael Burns and Kelly Curtin. Kelly and I went to High School and college together and she actually introduced me to Frank4. Michael Burns and I met at Ohio University freshman year and we lived together junior year at 15Palmer. It was wonderful to see them again, kelly has not seen Frank5 since August and Michael since April!

Daddy Frank got his first pair of glasses yesterday... I guess there is no denying we are getting older anymore... but he sure does look handsome in them!

Liam and Finn

Saturday baby frank got to hang out with his godfather Liam and his brother Finn. Frank5 is always a fan of friends and attention, but he really seems to enjoy the Carstens boys. Liam even changed Frank5's diaper for the first time (like an excellent godfather should). Frank had a very fun time hanging out with them and then going to Skyline for lunch (as usual).

Friends are so much fun!

Five teeth for Frank5

With all the excitement of Christmas we missed the arrival of Frank's 5th tooth the upper right lateral incisor... I know how do you miss a teething baby??? But I guess frank took the you better be good for Santa to come threat quite seriously! Luckily daddy Frank noticed the tooth while they were playing the other night. Thank goodness for my new camera... you can definitely tell the better image quality on these close up shots!

halfway showing off his new tooth

what are you looking at??

see my new tooth??? It looks like the upper right central incisor is not too far behind...

Chinese Food

Yesterday baby Frank spent the day with the Hartge grandparents and uncle Mike helped him eat some rice (one of his favorite foods!). Daddy Frank took some cute pictures of baby Frank using some chopsticks with the help of uncle Mike!

Not too sure about this...

uncle Mike, you're an ok guy... :)

Wii-Christmas

My parents got a Nintendo Wii for Christmas... and it has been all the entertainment at the Hayes grandparents house... I have never been much of a video-gamer... but I have always enjoyed playing the Wii and I am starting to get to become decent at it... but not good by any means... It took me two hours to finish a song on guitar hero... but I did it! haha. Frank4 has been extremely helpful in setting up the Wii... and thank goodness too... without him, we would probably still be looking at it in the box!

The Lexie2004

When my mom and I go shopping we typically take my pooch Lexie with us because my dad and her are not the best of friends... and she enjoys car rides. We joked on black friday that we had the best security system ever to guard our presents The Lexie2004 (year she was born)... If any of you have met her I am sure that statement makes complete sense... because no one would come within 5 feet of our car with killer in the car! Well today we discovered an added bonus of the Lexie2004... when my mom got out of the car her keys fell out of her purse. It was not until we had already closed the doors we noticed the keys were locked in the car... my mom told me to try to get Lexie to unlock the door by tapping on the window above the unlock button and convince her to step on it... YEAH RIGHT I thought... that is NEVER going to happen!... but I tried anyways while my mom was calling AAA... and within a minute or so she actually unlocked the door to my surprise! My mom and I thought it was so funny we were laughing about it most of the day... just an added accessory of the Lexie2004!

Mr. Fix It

After I gave up assembling baby Frank's new tool bench... Grandma Hayes helped put it together and baby frank seems to really like it! Let's hope he learns some handy-man skills because we could really use it in the Hartge household!

Hayes Christmas

This afternoon we celebrated Christmas with the Hayes grandparents, aunt April, great-grandma Burns, and MY uncle Chris and Kim. We even got a phone call from my brother T.J who is currently serving in Iraq. After last night and this morning, baby frank definitely got the hang of Christmas and loved all the attention and new toys!! I was super excited because apparently Santa thought I was extra good this year... because he brought me a new camera! and even an extra lens!! I am charging the battery and cannot wait to use it and get more amazing pictures before!

Baby Frank's present was bigger than he was!!!
