Passed Out

Sometimes you eat so much... it just wears you out...

All Play

With all the rain we have been playing a lot inside or at the mall with Wyatt and Elliott. Frank has plenty of toys... but he has a new fascination with straws... cheapest toy ever...

And this is Mr. Elliott who never gets to be in pictures like his brother Wyatt... Frank and Elliott are going to be a wild pair pretty soon...

April Showers!

It has been raining non-stop the past few days... which is a very sad change to our sunny weather last week. Baby frank was prepared for the weather with his rain jacket... and he looked ohhh so cute in it! All he needs now is some Wellies and an umbrella.

One handsome dude

Frank vs. The Fountain

Tonight we went to play at another local park and Frank had a great time... there was another fountain and this time Frank worked up the courage to play in it!

checking it out with Daddy

"this looks like fun!"

Frank started to be really brave... then he became a little too brave... and he got stuck...

He really liked the water after a while...

Such a brave little man

We are so glad he likes the water!

A Day at The Park

Frank also enjoyed playing on the playground at the park as well! Mommy and Daddy really liked the park because it was near the Greaters... so we got some yummy ice cream!

He loves the swings

He is already giving me the... quit it with the camera look...

having so much fun!

Playing with Daddy

He was not quite ready for the sand box...

More fun at the best playground we have seen :)

This looks fun too!

We Need a Translator...

Frank loves to talk... we would like to hire a translator...

Mr. Summer-time

Today we played with the neighbors in Wyatt and Elliott's swimming pool... Frank also enjoyed a yummy strawberry banana homemade Popsicle that Katie made for the boys... swimming pool, backyard, baseball hat and a Popsicle... can't get much better than that!

*** Please keep Grandpa Hayes' in your thoughts and prayers today. He was in a very bad car accident this afternoon, but everything seems to be OK thus far... I will keep you updated.

Pool Time!

Today while I was taking my third and final Praxis, baby Frank played with his Hartge grandparents, and Grandpa Hayes set up his baby pool. When Frank was dropped off after my test, he immediately wanted to play in his pool... I quickly let him in his swim suit and let him play!

Splashing away.. and ready to dive in

He loved everything about the pool

Mixing and pouring water like a true scientist

Running around the pool chasing his whale sprinkler

He thought the sprinkler was a water fountain.... Daddy would not approve of this...

Most babies and small children HATE swimming on their backs { I taught and coached swimming for many years... believe me on this one}.... I thought Frank kept falling down... but I quickly realised he just wanted to lay on his back in the pool... I have been saying for a while he was going to be a butterfly-er... but maybe he is a backstroke-er at heart...

For Uncle TJ

Frank was playing on the Hobby Horse that Grandpa Hayes made for him {and my Aunt Holly and Uncle Dennis painted}. He had so much fun on the horse he would cry and fuss when we would take him off. Grandma thought he would look so cute in Uncle TJ's 1st Calvary Division Stetson Hat... so he posed in it for his Uncle TJ who will be home from Iraq hopefully this summer!

Looking so serious!

He just wanted to ride his horse

Officer Frank

Today frank enjoyed playing in the little tikes police car that our friend Cindy gave him. He really really likes to play in his new police cruiser. And even though he knows how to open the door... for some reason this silly baby likes a more Duke's of Hazzard/ Nascar type of vehicle entry... here he is driving his car.

He is one crazy driver!

Busy Day

Sometimes having a napless Thursday can catch up with you...

Jack Jack

Today we got to hang out with Jack Streb and his mommy Marisa. A 3 month Jack looked ever so cute in the Bumbo!

And Frank did a pretty good job playing with Jack's toys and his puppy Libby.

We were very happy to get to see Jack again and watch him grow up :)

Napless Thursday

Yes... not only has baby Frank been a one-nap wonder since about 1 year... but today he decided he needed NO nap at all... he had ample napportunity... the drive to Columbus from Dayton was during his "nap time"... then when we got to grandma and grandpa Hayes's he sat in his crib for about 1 hour talking with his Gund bear... so by 3:00 I gave up on the nap idea and waited for the impending breakdown... and to my surprise it never happened... for a baby who did not have a nap and is teething {he has a tooth and a molar poking through the gums} he was surprisingly pleasant ALL day... he woke up at 6am and did not even start acting tired until 8pm... thankfully he fell asleep the instant he hit the sheets... hopefully this is not a new trend... here are some pictures of our happy no-nappy baby!

Trying to ride his tractor around the house

So proud of his new idea

Riding in his car as usual

Sunglasses and Fast Cars

Frank really likes his sunglasses now that it is springtime... and he also loves his car... put them together and you are in for one wild and crazy afternoon! {it was rainy in Ohio today so we had to play inside... but i think we made the best of it...}

Watch him go! He is lightning fast

Big smile

We Found the Sun!

It is finally springtime in Ohio!  Today was in the upper 60's... which means in Ohio... hello shorts and t-shirts! We went to play at the Greene with our neighbors Katie, Wyatt and Elliott... and had a great time. Frank almost played with Wyatt in the fountain... but was just a little to small... maybe next time!

Watching Wyatt play

He would rather -RUN- around

Trying to work up the courage... he got so close...

Trying on sunglasses... looking like he just got back from a weekend bender in Las Vegas

Laughing with Wyatt

Calvin and Hobbes

At The Park

They built a new playground next to the golf course down the street from us... and Frank and I have been stopping to play on it during our walks. Today I stopped and took some pictures of the little man since it was such a BEAUTIFUL day!

Hey ladies...

Weeeee.... Frank loves to play on the swings!

What a cool dude

He was very interested in watching the bulldozer in the distance

Finally able to climb without getting into trouble!
