Benjamin 16 Months with the Gund Bear

Little Man is 16 Months Old! He is a bundle of Dynamite that is for sure! He is a climber... he will constantly climb on the tables, couches, up ladders, slides, AC units whatever he can get up on. He has the most infectious laugh, and his big brothers love to make him laugh. He really likes slides at the park and is such a pro! His vocabulary is starting to bloom and he has so many new words. He will repeat whatever you say to him, but he is starting to say phrases like "all clean" and "all done" he will also say "pleeeese" and "daaank you". He is starting to show less interest in "pouches" or pureed food and more interest in table food. He really likes to eat! Ben likes to play with stuffed animals, lego duplo, books, trains and train track, cars and puzzles. He also likes to find the tiniest pieces of Franks toys and spread them all over the house... and of course nothing entertains him more than destruction of train track, toys, toilet paper... you name it (we are working on that). We tend to call him Ben, Benji-B, Bean, B-B, Benji-Mac, little man and Peanut. Can't believe how -BIG- he is getting!

Getting ready for kindergarten

Im not sure how we got here... Kindergarten Orientation! One good thing about staying in CT is that Frank is able to attend the same school for Kindergarten that he did for PreK. This is the first time EVER he has returned to the same school or daycare for the second year, so this was big for us. Frank was very excited to see his old friends, and meet some new friends... he walked right into his class room... said hello to both his teachers and started talking with his old friends. I think this will be a great year for Frank!

Ben 15 Months with The Gund Bear

Happy 15 Months Ben! He is walking like crazy, climbing and dancing like a big boy. His vocabulary is blossoming! He can say mama, dadda, ball, cra-cker, night night, bye-bye, uh-oh, and his favorite word is shoes. which sounds more like 'shueees". Ben LOVES shoes, be will pick up everyones shoes and move them around the house... even in the trash can... Ben loves to play with cars and trains, be likes puzzles and play food. He is such a joy and is very easy going we love him so very much. Ben eats practically anything and everything you put in front of him, which makes his small size so surprising! At 15 Months Ben weighs in at 18lbs and 6oz and 30.5 inches tall. To give you some perceptive Ben is currently almost the same size his brothers were when they were 6 months old... Frank was 18lbs 10oz and 29.5 inches tall and Charlie was 18lbs 5oz and 29 inches tall. He may be tiny, but dynamite comes in small packages!

Ben is Walking!!! And he decided to just take off and not stop. He is such a sweet little man, he loves to play with his brothers, go swimming, play at the beach and at the park. Ben loves the swings and going for rides in the stroller. He is the best eater we could have ever asked for, and really the best baby too. We love you sweet little Ben!

Ben 13 Months With Gund Bear

Ben is 13 Months Old and -almost- a walker! He is so very close... we can tell it is truly any day now! He is now eating a lot of table food like chicken, hamburger, eggs and most fruits and vegetables. We hope he is gaining weight and continues to be a big boy! He loves to play with blocks, cars and trains, buckets and bubbles. He likes to play with the tractor and lighting McQueen car in the driveway. We love this little man!

One Year Old! Can you believe it! Ben is such a sweet little man (little being the key word) he is gaining weight at 16lbs and 3oz and 28.25 inches. Still small for his age... wearing 9 month clothes now though! Ben is now standing solo and about to walk any day now! He loves to climb the stairs and get into everything {to the annoyance of his big brothers}. He likes to play with cars and trains and loves the water table outside! His favorite foods are pouches, cheerios, chicken, berries... practically anything! He also likes to babble a lot... i think Ben and Charlie have whole conversations in the back seat sometimes which I cannot understand... the conspiracy has begun! Love you little B!

One more month as a baby! I cannot believe it! He is so small it feels like he is still a "baby" at 15lbs 6oz and 28inches long little man is off the charts, but the sweetest peanut ever. You would never believe he was so small if you watched him eat. He really eats and likes to eat everything! (which is a nice change from our middle child). Ben is standing and crusing all the time now. He will walk behing walkers or chairs pushing them along. He is also a climber... and though he has not attempted the stairs that is next. He loves to play on the train table with his brothers, chew on everything and laugh. He is so sweet and content! We are very happy to have daddy Frank back very soon so he can enjoy this little man as much as I do!

10 Months Old! Ben had been such a blessing, especially with Daddy Frank being gone I couldn't ask for a better baby! He is so sweet and just lovely to be around. He spends most of the day in the Ergo still as I chase around his brothers, but he is pulling up on things and crusing around. We are lucky to have this little man in our lives!

Happy 9 Months Benjamin! He is a tiny {14lbs 10oz and 27.5 inches} So we are concerned for his weight loss, but he is getting over a cold... so we are hoping that is the only problem. Ben is really doing well with eating, so much better than last month so we don't think that is the problem. He is a very active little man, crawling and playing with his brothers.

Benjamin is 8 Months old! And finally acting like a big boy :) Around Christmas he decided to start eating foods and he hit the ground running! He eats most solids, enjoys mum-mums, cheerios, crackers, puffs, mandarin oranges... and whatever his brothers feed him... His favorite foods continue to be pears, blueberries, and apples... need to get more vegetables into this little man!

Ben started crawling around the floor, though he mostly goes in reverse. He loves his brothers, and any toy that rolls or squeaks. He likes to bounce in his jumperoo, or if you support him standing. He's still a little guy in comparison to his brothers, but we think he is a keeper :)
