Little Things... Big Things

Lately we have been getting things ready for the arrival of the new baby {in 4 weeks or less} Frank has been very interested in -testing out- all of his old baby toys.... At mimi and pop pop's house Frank took an interest in the exersaucer... thought he is QUITE big for it... i think he had deemed it safe and fun for the new baby...

However... I am sure he is very happy with his BIG BOY toys instead of his baby toys... Frank LOVES GeoTracks. Saturday night Frank and Mimi created an insane set-up with all the tracks and trains they could find

Hours of fun definitely followed...

Frank's 3rd Birthday Party

This year we decided not to have Frank's party at MiMi and Pop pop's house like his 1st {more pics} and 2nd {more pics} Birthdays... But at BounceU in Dayton! It was a great time and I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to throw a birthday party! they were amazing and we had a great time. I think it is safe to say Frank truly enjoyed himself and all of his friends seemed to be having a great time as well!

Every three year old just wants to BOUNCE!

Tonight You Are My Baby...

Three Years ago we were anxiously awaiting the arrival of Frank5... It is hard to believe that was THREE years ago and he is not longer a -baby- but a BIG BOY! Even stores designate him as no longer a baby... 3T and up is located in a completely different location then 2T... At least for one more night I can think of him as my sweet -little- baby

Because tomorrow he will truly be a little man... but at least my little man is never too little or too big to ask him mommy for a hug :)

Air Force Museum

Sunday we decided to take a trip to the Air Force Museum after church to get out of the house! Frank appeared to have a great time... he was very excited to see the planes. We always forget this is a great winter option of something to do... we will need to go more often before the big move to Washington DC in June!

Frank the astronaut... he fits it much better then this summer :)

The Frank's and an old plane

Frank was asking "the people" why they were fixing the plane

Frank really liked the old planes

Ice... Snow... Power

On Monday Night a big ICE STORM rolled through Dayton Ohio! I was so excited to get a call that my High School was cancelled on Tuesday morning {though really shocked because we rarely cancel}. Even more exciting was when Frank4 was sent home from his class that afternoon so we had a family snow/ice day! It was hard to do much when outside the house it looked like this...

So we managed to do some cleaning... Found Frank's old cheese head just in time for the Super Bowl this weekend! Frank was so excited to wear it he was running around yelling "I'm a cheese head!!" Much more enthusiasm then when he wore it before....

Tuesday night we lost power for about an hour... but thankfully it returned much sooner than most people! NO POWER= another snow day for Frank5 and me... Daddy Frank already had a scheduled day off... so more family time! We spent Wednesday hanging out... Frank wanted to "study" his flash cards.... Later that night we ventured out to dinner and BounceU with friends...

Frank also enjoyed helping daddy Fix things... he became pretty handy with a flashlight

Seeing how this shredder works...

Then to my surprise I got a THIRD day off due to the destruction on power lines and icy sidewalks making it difficult for students to make it safely to school... Frank and Frank headed back to school and work respectively so I could clean up the destruction that happened to our house after two days of being stuck inside! Today I headed back to school... just in time to start the weekend! More snow scheduled to fall... just got to love winter in Ohio!
