Ready to Party!

Today is Frank's 2nd Birthday Party and as you can tell we are ready to Party! Shirley Newton made Frank a CARS! cake... she makes the most wonderful cakes check out cookie monster from last year.

What a cool cake! And it was so yummy too!

The food before the guests arrived... I was not cooking this year... haha

Frank got overly excited and grandma Hartge let him open a present from Great Grammy Casey

Frank's Cars! The t-shirt even has pockets for him to put his cars into!

Once the party got started Frank got to blow out his candle with mommy and daddy!

Even though we -practiced- blowing out his candle he needed a little support

Waking up TWO

This morning I awoke Frank with a camera like I did last year... because he woke up as a TWO YEAR OLD!! I can hardly believe two years ago we were just meeting our little man and now he is two! I cannot imagine life without our perfect little man we love this TWO YEAR OLD very much!

-TWO- early for pictures

Happy 2nd Birthday Frank5!

Today is Frank5's 2nd Birthday!

Here are five things you might not know about him... that you didn't learn last year...
1. We have yet to see frank show any favoritism towards one color... I could not tell you his favorite color... though he loves to sort things by shape, size and color
2. His FAVORITE food is frozen blueberries! He loves them... well any frozen fruit... well anything cold really... he likes everything cold... he will push away anything that is "hot"... he even likes his bath water to be below 91 degrees... perhaps we should get this boy some ski's!
3. Frank cannot wear Huggies Diapers... for whatever reason he can remove them {and likes to} yet he does not try to remove any other brand...
4. His favorite activity is hiding! He will hide any and everywhere... under the bed, behind the door, in the closet, last week he climbed into the bathtub and wrapped himself in the shower curtain... I could only find him because after minutes of searching I could hear a faint giggle from the bathroom...
5. Frank LOVES everything cars! Cars, trucks, tractors, airplanes... anything... he makes sure to point them out to you everywhere you go... "biiigg truck" is always his favorite thing to say.

Another Snow Day!

Today we had another snow day! With 6''-8'' falling throughout the day on top of all the snow we had from the weekend... and a few more inches and heavy winds expected tonight... {we can always hope for ANOTHER snow day... but as of now I am just on a 2 hr delay}... Frank5 and I had a great day hanging out... it makes me miss last year when we got to hang out all the time... we went to our neighbor Katie's and played with Wyatt, Elliot and Ava most of the morning... we baked cookies, ordered pizza, and even played in the SNOW! Frank and Wyatt loved the snow they were playing in the snow fort Wyatt and his daddy made... sliding down the huge mountains of snow... throwing snowballs at the "snow monsters"... so cute! I was so amazed how much Frank5 loved the snow... he was going crazy throwing himself into the snow... when I tried to bring him inside after an HOUR he had a complete melt down... after dinner we went back out to play... and he again lost it when we brought him inside after at least a HOUR in the cold! Apparently our little man is a northern boy at heart... ski's and ice skates it is!

Frank loves the snow! Look at the joy on his face!

Yeah for snow! So happy!

Frank loves to say... "look... biiiigggg truck!" so we put him in the truck bed... he could not have been happier...

Boys having so much fun!

Daddy go released from the hospital early! So he came outside to play too!

Snowmageddon

I love all the names TV stations have created for this recent snow storm. And while we did get a nice amount of snow {one day late to get a snow day...} It is nothing like other cities!! This morning I woke up and my wonderful hubby instantly jumped out of bed and began shoveling snow and cleaning off my car so I could make it to the gym on time this morning {what a man!} I loved it when I walked out side seeing all the -men- of our neighborhood hard at work in clearing our sidewalks and helping our elderly neighbors. My favorite neighbor who is an Iwo Jima Vet was even out... He has to be the cutest old man EVER! After the a few errands we returned home and got Frank5 all bundled up in his snow suit and let him check out the snow. I think it is safe to say he enjoyed it... he was more interested in eating it than anything else... ohh this child is ALWAYS eating! Guess we need to teach him the -don't eat yellow snow- rule early in in life!

The two Franks in the snow

Look at all the snow!

Hmmm... what is this white stuff?

Ohh... he eats everything....
