Orchardly Park

Sunday night Baby Frank and I went to the Orchardly Park after dinner to let daddy Frank study {and I thought the studying would be over after his STEP1...haha!} Frank loves climbing up the playground and going down the slide. He also likes playing in the sand and dirt... yet on this very hot August day he was the only child not interested in the fountain {which was the main reason I took him to this park and did not just walk to our neighborhood park}... ohhh well...

Climbing through the tunnel

Playing in the sand

"ummm mommy... you are interrupting me with that camera again??"

"OK... I will smile if you leave me alone..."

Little Gym Class NINE

Saturday Morning Frank and I went to his Little Gym Class {it was a make up class for his last class which we won't be able to make it to because I will be working!! ahhhhh}. I was worried that he would be shy and nervous because it was a new group of kiddos and by was I WRONG! He acted like he owned the class or something... apparently it took a while but he is becoming the leader of the class {finally!}. He loved every second of class... he was socializing, playing, exploring, laughing, clapping... just having the best time! He has one more class as a Bird {ages 10-19 months} and then Fall semester he will be a Beast {19 Months- 2 1/2 years}... look forward to many more Little Gym posts...

Book Worm

While cleaning this afternoon... it became eerily quiet {and anyone who has a baby knows that that can be BAD NEWS}... but to my surprise I found him curled up in his rocking chair reading one of his favorite books...

Aladdin

We have finally found it... the movie that hypnotized frank into submission... and though I am not proud to admit I am excited my son FINALLY enjoys TV... there are moments when you need to distract him {like while I am trying to cook/clean etc or in the car}... Frank LOVES Aladdin... every part of it... I think it is amusing that his favorite character is clearly Jafar {Frank4 says he might like the parrot Iago not necessarily Jafar}... I would think Jafar would be scary for a little man... but regardless.. he loves it... and mommy loves it too

"Mommy you are bothering me here..."

Watching so intently...

Big Shoes

As if Frank didn't have big enough shoes {size 7!} he thinks mommy's {or daddy's} shoes are a perfect fit and finds it so amusing to walk/and play around the house in them.

What fun shoes are!

Little Gym Class EIGHT

Today was Frank's eighth class at The Little Gym {i believe it is eight... but I am not completely sure...} He is an ALL STAR now! Our little shy dude is beginning to blossom and socialize with the other children. He loves to share the balls, musical instruments and other toys. He is always the first in line to put the toys away! {They sing a song when it is time to put anything away... and we sing it at home as well... now he is Pavloved to the song and jumps up to put things away...} He is a HUGE fan of the balance beam, the bubbles, balls, Roley mats and of course his stamp at the end of class. The best part of class is that he is becoming more comfortable with the other children and did not look like our reserved, quiet, observant, shy little guy today but a funny, talkative little boy. Today during bubbles he said a three word sentence!!! {he usually says one or two words but never three...} He said {and signed} "More-Bubbles Please" which sounded more like "Mooohh Bu-Ble Peaseee" I was definitely beaming with pride... haha

Climbing up and down the stairs

Climbing back on the beam

Playing nicely with the other children

Who doesn't love bubbles?? I mean seriously!

Frank's absolute favorite skill at class... he squeals with delight, jumping and clapping every time he sees the big circle mat... today he was very excited to be the "model" student for skill today

Mr. Serious here on the bars... I thought he would continue to be silly but I guess he thought he really needed to focus on this skill

Monday Visitors

Today Grandma Hartge came to watch baby Frank while I had my LAST day of work at Sinclair{Now I only have 3 weeks till my new job starts... ahhhh} and Daddy's first day of his Internal Medicine rotation. Grandma and Frank had such a great day together, hanging out and going to the park! Aunt Molly came for a visit and went to dinner with us, then of course stayed around to PLAY!
