Mr. Blaine Hughs

Today we got a visit from Mr. Blaine and his momma Katie! I have not seen them in a month or so because of various reasons and WOW a little boy can grow so much in one month! He is the cutest little leprechaun ever {hehe} he has green eyes and reddish blonde hair. Frank was very sweet to him when he cam in the door.. petting his head and saying "baby! baby" and kissing his little toes {i try not to let the toddler infect the infant by kissing him on the face/cheeks}... he even did not seen to get too upset while I was holding him and feeding him a bottle... Frank would bring him over toys to share {crayons, matchbox cars, cheerios... all things a 4 month old cannot have but it is the thought that counts}. However Frank quickly became dis-interested when he discovered this baby could not play with him... and sat at a distance playing with his cars and trucks... ohhh well... our only child appears to like it that way

Another Hair-Cut

It feels like every 2-3 weeks this kid needs a hair cut... his hair grows in a -strange pattern- and so he don't look like he has a mullet it must get cut! While in Columbus we stopped by a friends salon so she could trim his hair... he was such a good boy... no tears! He sat in the chair all by himself and just shot me glances of utter betrayal... however I told him if he was a good boy he would get a treat...

Ready for the day... he has a pony tail out of the back of his hat... definitely time for a hair cut!

Sitting in the chair... look of disbelief/betrayal

Focused on the hair cut

"I'm not gonna cry... I'm not gonna cry..."

Checking out his good looks in the mirror

Hey mommy... no crying...

For being such a good boy this little man got a dum-dum

I think the reward was worth the hair cut!

Born to Ride

Daddy is on-call all weekend so Frank5 and I went to visit the Grandparents Hayes and Hartge in Columbus. Frank5 found a bike at Grandma and Grandpa Hayes' house... and immediately hopped on it and started riding it down the driveway... I guess he is a natural...

Days Go By...

The weather is starting to get nice in ohio... which means walks to the park and playing outside! Still have no camera except for the iphone but was able to snap a few cute shots!

Our little man... the snow is melting!

He HAD to swing on the big boy swings... this is the best picture I could get...

While grading quizzes today for my Chemistry I students I came across a gem... this is an ACTUAL answer he left on his quiz...

These are the moments that make my job worth while....

Outlet Shopping

I know it has been a while since my last post... I left my camera in Columbus a few weekends ago... So I really have not been able to take pictures except with my iPhone {plus life has been a bit busy around here...}. Sunday we went with Aunt Molly to the Cincinnati Premium Outlets {about 20 minutes from our house}. They have a great playground and it is practically halfway between where aunt molly lives and we live! We had a great time and Frank was such a trooper... hopefully more pics and updates to come soon :)

Frank is ready to shop!

Slide!! We are so excited the weather is warming up and we can play outside

No Pictures! No Autographs!

Work...Work...Work

Last night while grading papers Frank decided to bring me all of his cars... then proceeded to serenade me with his harmonica... hence why I can never get any work done...
