I have nothing really interesting to write about... my parents have been bugging me to post new pictures... so I took some pictures of baby frank in his bouncy chair tonight... he is improving greatly in day care and he seems to be adjusting quite nicely to his wonderful teachers.

Frank Five on 5/5

Franky five celebrated 5/5 or cinco de mayo at FLICC today. I am slowly learning bits of Spanish to talk to Frank's teachers, and today when I asked Como hizo Frank hoy? Lloro` mucho? (how did frank do today? did he cry a lot?) his teacher told me that he is improving a lot and he did not cry nearly as much today! I am glad he is adjusting better, it makes me feel better about leaving him while I am at work... even though it is still really hard to leave him during the day.

Tummy Time in Tennessee

Frank has really been working hard at his tummy time lately. He loves to be on his tummy and almost seems determined to hold his head up and roll over. These pictures really show how blue his eyes are getting ( i like to call him frankie blue eyes) and his love affair with putting his hands in his mouth.

His First All Nighter...

yes you read that correctly... please mark you calendars that on the evening of May 3rd baby frank slept through the night!! At a little more that 11 weeks and just 10 days shy of 3 months old he slept from 9:30 pm-6:30am (that is a very impressive 9 hours strait)! I could not believe it! typically he wakes up once or twice during the night to eat... but not last night! my baby is getting so big I hope that he can sleep like that on a regular basis. Not only did he reach a sleeping milestone this weekend... but today Sunday, May 4th baby frank laughed out loud for the first time while on his play mat. I though he had injured himself because it did not sound like his usual chatter and smiley coo's that I hear so often now... I hope to hear much more laughter in the future so I can record it for everyone to hear.

Day Care Take Two...

Today was Frank's second day at day care and his teacher said he improved a little... while he was still fussy and cried a lot... she told me he did not cry nearly as much as yesterday and took two really good naps. We can only hope he keeps improving while we are still in Memphis!

Frank's first day of school

Today was frank's first day at day care... and I can only hope he improves in the future. He was great this morning, I fed him and put on a cute out-fit for his first day of school. He was his normal happy self on the way to school, but the minute I tried to leave he started screaming bloody murder and would not stop crying... his teacher picked him up and assured me they all act like this the first few days and he will be fine.... when I returned 7 hours later to pick him up... he was still crying... his teacher said he took two brief naps... but he was basically upset all day... They again assured me that -some- babies struggle the first few weeks of day care... especially the ones that are held all the time (guilty as charged)... the second we got home he passed out and took a long nap... and now he is back to being that happy baby i know... I didn't get to take any pictures in his classroom because he was crying the whole time... but I will keep everyone updated with his progress :)
