6 Months Old with the Gund Bear

Today I took baby Frank's 6 month pictures with his Gund bear. There were so many good pictures it was hard for me only to put a few on the blog... so this may be a bit of picture overload... but Ohhh well... He is doing so well at 6 months... I is hard to believe he is SIX months already, the time just seems to fly by! He has his 6 month check-up next week so we will update you on his stats then... but he now has two teeth coming in... he is finally getting hair on his head (which may be light brown or blond... too soon to tell)... he is able to sporadically sit up on his own and sorta crawl backwards... but only backwards. He loves any toys that play music or have bright lights, he really likes mirrors and looking at the handsome guy staring back at him, and of course the exersaucer and jumparoo (i don't know what we would do without them!) Getting Older Means New Toys!

Since Baby Frank is 6 months old and sitting up now (most of the time) he can play with his music table... he really likes to push all the buttons and see the lights going off. This toy is extra fun because it is both English and Spanish... and we all know baby frank loves his espanol. He is being such a good baby considering he now has his two front teeth poking through his gums. He is very interested in his new teeth which is made apparent by his facial expressions and tongue/ lip/ mouth movements. He CONSTANTLY Talking and telling us in his baby language about his day... I know i am biased but he is probably one of the funniest guys I know... he always seems to make Frank4 and I crack up laughing!

No Longer Bald and Toothless

Baby frank has his first tooth! People have been telling us for 3 months now that baby frank is teething... so we just nod our heads and agree with them... knowing full well he probably inherited my teeth and will not get his first tooth until like 9 or 10 months old... HOWEVER... This afternoon as baby frank was chewing on my hand (i told you he chews on people) i noticed something sharp... I looked in his mouth and discovered he has a little tooth poking through the gums! It is on his lower right side (or tooth P for those dental scholars). I tried to take a picture with my computer camera... but the camera resolution combined with baby franks enthusiasm for computers made it difficult to see his tooth... but i promise it's there! Six months old exactly :)

6 months Old!

I accidentally left my camera in Columbus this weekend so no pictures to post until its safe return... HOWEVER today baby frank is 6 months old! He is such a wonderful little boy we cannot believe he is growing so fast... we are so blessed to have such a good little guy! What does a 6 month old like o do with his time? let me tell you:

1. Chew/slobber on EVERYTHING, including his hands and feet, toys, blankets, clothes, people... yes even people get chewed on.

2. SIT UP! and play with his toys without falling over, practice crawling (he is not crawling yet we are trying to discourage it for a while).

3. Playing in his exersaucer and Jumparoo

4. He still likes to eat anything orange or yellow...(sweet potatoes, carrots, squash, peaches, bananas) but he now also likes to eat pear/blueberries... so he is maturing in his tastes!

5. He loves to smile and flirt with everyone he meets... he is going to be trouble we can already tell..

Jane's Birthday Party

Tonight we went to our neighbor, Jane Neiman's surprise birthday party. Baby Frank got to hang out with Baby Matthew again and all of our neighborhood friends. He was such a good little guy during the party. We were very happy to help celebrate Jane's birthday!
