Ohio Visit

For the past wee we had a great visit to OHIO! Saw a lot of family and friends and had some fun back in our home state... here are some pictures from the visit

Frank wanted to paint his pumpkin we got from the pumpkin patch this year... he was very meticulous and wanted it to dry and look perfect for MiMi and PopPop's porch.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Happy 28th Birthday to me! It was great spending it in Ohio with friends and family. Frank4 was able to fly in after his conference in San Diego and enjoy his "vacation" with us. My mom came home from work with a Dairy Queen ice cream cake and some balloons. when she walked in the door Frank5 said, "it's a birthday party! Can I EAT CAKT!?" She told him if he could sing Happy Birthday to the correct person he could have some.... and sure enough... he did! So at 3:00 we had birthday cake :) He would not let her put all 28 candles on because it would take too long AND it could melt the cake! HA geesh I am only 28!

Freeman Farms

Luckily we were visiting Ohio in october and we were able to visit Freeman Farms just like last year... and 2009... and 2008. The weather was perfect! It was such a beautiful fall Ohio day! Both sets of grandparents AND Katie, Matthew and Landry Nieman were able to join us.

Dayton Visit

On Friday during our Ohio visit I went to Dayton to meet up with some old Oakwood friends and students. It was so nice to be back in the Dayton area, and here is a lovely picture of me with -some- of my old Oakwood Physics students who met me for a late lunch at Dewey's.

Charlie has decided this October means it is time to move! He is so happy and active, he loves to play on the floor with his big brother or LATE at night when he can't seem to fall asleep...

All this play time has made him quite confident... and he has started to crawl! videos to be posted soon
