Christmas Party

Tonight Frank5 and I went to a Christmas party at my friends Jamie and Randy Combs' house. (Frank4 is still studying for an exam on Monday, so he is not yet in Columbus but we can't wait for him to join us!) It was so fun to see some of my girls from college again and their husbands/boyfriends/dogs... we are all very excited for the arrival of baby Streb in about a month and Mooey was the cutest pregnant lady ever!! Frank was a very good little boy... and was very interested in Jamie's pooch Maddie, and Maddie was so sweet to play with him! It was also bittersweet because baby franks favorite optometrist Katie Greiner is moving out of Columbus... so we took this opportunity to take a lot of pictures of Nathan, Katie and baby Frank (just for you peg!)

frank and Nathan were buddies... haha

here is the -first- time Nathan corrupted my child... i am sure their will be many more opportunities in the future...

Frank and Parker

Today Frank got to hang out with his buddy Parker Enoch, his big brother Conner and their mommy Lindsi. Frank and Parker are like 2 1/2 months apart... so in no time at all they are going to be partners in crime. Parker is just the sweetest little cuddle bug and the boys are such a good pair! I could not get a picture with both of them looking at the camera.. so instead you get two..

Parker (7 1/2 months) and Frank (10 months)

so cute!

Happy Birthday Great-Grandma Burns!

Today is Great-Grandma Burns' 81st Birthday!

Here are 5 things you may not know about her...

1. Great Grandma Burns graduated from Otterbein College in 1949
2. She was born in Pennsylvania as Blanche Joanne Gaunt, but HATES the name Blanche and has always gone by the name Joanne.
3.  1949-1951 she spent teaching in Turkey, and that is where she met my Grandpa John.
4.  Grandma Burns loves dogs, especially schnauzers, and has had MANY dogs throughout her long life.
5. She has two children (Chris and Pam) four grandchildren (Tim, Abbie, Gina, and Patrick) and one great-grandchild (Frank)... so of course he is her favorite great-grand child

Another Christmas Party

Thursday night baby frank went to visit his great-grandma Burns (grandma Hayes' mother) at her community Christmas Party. He was a very good boy and the life of the party showing off his clapping and talking skills. He also brought her a birthday present because Friday is Great-grandma Burns' Birthday!! There was music and food (very good food might I add) it was a very nice time. The Bright Family were also there visiting their grandparents as well so baby frank finally got to hang out with Sarah Bright!

10 Months Old with the Gund Bear

Yesterday Frank5 turned 10 months old! I was going to take his Gund Bear pictures last night... but he was having a bit of a rough day with his upper teeth... so i thought I would post-pone the photo shoot until today. He is such a happy little boy and so much fun to play with. It is crazy to think he is 10 months old already! He is sooooo close to walking... he has taken a few steps... but collapses soon after. He can even stand on his own for a good 20 seconds before falling... he still loves to crawl though.. he is definitely always on the move! He is also a very vocal little man, babbling and laughing constantly. He achieved sippy cup success this past month and we are trying to transition him from the bottle to the cup.

Food- We are trying new "textures" and thus far Frank likes steamed apples, corn, carrots and peas. He loves blueberries, noodles, Yo-Baby Yogurt, lemons and puffs

Toys- Cars and Trucks, Blocks, Leap Frog Magnetic Farm Animals, Balls, and BOOKS! (especially his cars book that makes sounds)

Newest Skills- Clapping, waving good bye, signing "more"

Teeth- Baby frank has 2 new teeth and we think a third one (right central incisor) is breaking through the gums

What a big Boy!

so happy at 10 months

He looks so old in his shoes
