11 Months Old with the Gund Bear

We cannot believe that Frank is already 11 months old! He is growing so fast and soon he will no longer be our little baby! Today I took his Gund Bear pics and he is getting so big! Pictures are becoming more difficult, because he is always moving and constantly loosing interest in a photo-shoot, but I still think I took some good pictures. A lot has happened in the past month... here are some updates....

Favorite Foods: Cheerios, Green Beans, Corn, Carrots, Lima Beans, Peas, Bananas, Apples, Rice, noodles, cheese

Favorite Toys: Trains/Trucks/Cars, Toys that play music or make noise, books, pushing buttons on toys

Favorite Games: Playing chase... down the hall, up the stairs. Opening drawers, taking everything out... but then putting it back in , turning light switches on and off

New words: Frank will say, "Hi" to everyone he meets (he can even wave hello and goodbye), he also says mama and dada along with other un-translatable babble

New Teeth: Frank now has SIX teeth in his mouth, top four and bottom two

New skills: Standing solo for long periods of time, taking his first steps (still working on walking because he likes crawling and cruising a lot more), pulling the safety plugs out of the electrical sockets... even though they are the kind you have to push a button and pull at the same time (thus children are not supposed to be able to remove them)... he figured them out

"are we really doing this again???"

All smiles at 11 months

Such a big guy

So happy! I love this picture

BIG HUGS!! Frank gives the best hugs... he will even pat you on your back

Talking to his bear

crawling back after being distracted

"I love you gund bear..."

He was quickly distracted by his books... so here he is reading to his bear

Happy Birthday Uncle Mike

Happy Birthday Uncle Mike!!

Here are five things you may not know about him... (keeping in mind this is a family oriented blog)

1. Michael is a St. Charles alum, and Ohio University alum (just like Frank4). He now works for the radio... if you listen in Gastonia NC... you may hear him!
2. He hates soft things, they make him physically ill. Soft baby blankets make him nearly vomit... he once broke out in hives trying on a pea coat at American Eagle... I have a theory about this involving Frank4 and a soft baby blanket attacking his sleeping baby brother... but neither party will confirm the theory
3. Michael loves to run.. he has run Marathons and other unspeakable distances for fun!
4. Mike wears pink, and not only this, can can pull of  wearing the color pink (which not all guys can do). I love it when men wear pink (being it is my favorite color) but Frank4 would rather not... however mike can truly pull it off.
5. Joe Gernetzke is Mike's best friend... This piece of information is probably the most important for you to know.

Lexie and Gus

During our Columbus visit Frank got to play with his buddies Lexie and Gus at my parent house. He loves to talk to them through the windows on the back door while they are outside... so I took some pictures!

Visiting Jack

Today we when to visit Baby Jack and his family at the Hospital. It was so wonderful to get to spend time with this sweet family! Everyone was there to give baby Jack love and attention on his first day in the world. He is the sweetest little thing so cute and cuddly. He let me hold him for a long time (I was a very big baby hog!) and I told Mooey to watch out because I was going to steal him! I can't wait to watch him grow!

Then throughout the day I was getting updates on her progress... until he was born at 1:11 PM! Welcome to the world baby John Anthony Streb! They are calling him Jack and he is just the cutest thing!! We cannot wait to meet him, so I drove to Columbus and we are going to meet him tomorrow :)

Congrats to Marisa and Kevin!!
