New Cast

Wednesday we headed back to the Ortho to check on Frank's arm and see if he could get a new, shorter, waterproof cast! Luckily his arm appears to be healing very nicely. Frank was very interested in looking at his bones on the computer {seeing the x-rays}... maybe radiology is in his future... He wasn't scared of the -saw- at all that removed his cast...he said it was a magic knife that only cut the cast. He yet again was so very brave. Because the cast is below the elbow. Frank thinks it is a super hero shield. Let's hope his brother's don't get a "cast" to the face!

Parish Picnic

Sunday was the parish picnic at a local park

Ben was ready to cheer on the packers!

Taste of Mystic

Friday we went to the taste of Mystic with some friends, while Ben slept in the carrier, and Frank refuses to have his picture taken I think it is safe to say we all had a good time. Charlie enjoyed his ice cream...

Duo

Charlie and Ben being only 13-14ish months apart I hoped they would be good buddies, it is crazy how good of buddies they are already! I figured when they were 2 and 3 they would be a fantastic duo, but their friendship has already begun to blossom!

Picnic

We had a neighbor picnic for Labor day. Frank could not swim because of his cast, but Charlie loved the watermellon

Meet Thomas the Train

Thomas was in Newport, so with three little boys we couldn't help but go to spend the day with Thomas the train! Frank was excited to meet Thomas, and I think everyone had fun

We got to go on a 30 minute train ride around Newport with Thomas. 

Frank was happy to be on the train, but not to have his picture taken (even with mommy)

Afterwards we played in the area, got some balloon animals and walked around Newport. It was a very nice start to the weekend! Speaking of -starts- we are happy football season has started! Yeah for OU beating Penn State!! Ben is cheering for Grandpa Frank3's alma mater!
