Our Ladies Man

This evening baby frank got to go to dinner with mommy's friends Jamie Combs and Katie Greiner. He loved hanging out with them and i think he did a good job of charming the ladies. He gave them plenty of raspberries when happens to be his new favorite trick.

Loving on Jamie
Katie also showed me this "ticket" she found on her car while in Indy. I laughed so hard I had to take a picture... It is not a parking ticket... but a pamphlet in the form of a parking ticket from some church charging Katie with the crimes of stealing, cheating, lying, not believing in god and adultery! This was news to me because she is not even married...

These charges may be a bit harsh!

Another Pool Day!

Today we spent the day with Grandma Hartge. First we went over to The Ference's house to play at their pool and meet baby frank's new friend Natalie. Baby frank got to hang out with all the ladies including Sue Gernetzke and seemed to have a wonderful time meeting his new friends!

Happy Birthday Uncle T.J.

Today is my brother or "Uncle T.J's" 27th Birthday!  This is a picture of T.J and April with baby frank almost 2 months ago. Here are 5 things you may not know about him.
1. When he has hair it is very curly and blonde... but for some strange reason he never grows it out long enough for anyone else to know that.
2. He loves paintball so much that he actually requested and received a paintball gun as a wedding present (April is a better woman than I would have been).
3. His middle name does not start with the letter J nor is he a junior... His real name is Timothy Charles... but my mother liked T.J.... so that is what we called him most of his life. He is also responds to t-bear, Timmy, Young Tim, Tim or Captain Hayes
4. Though born and raised in Ohio he is a southern boy at heart... going to college in Alabama and living in Texas with his pick-up truck and hunting gear... oh and did I mention he cannot stand the cold... talk about an identity crisis!
5. Unfortunately this is his second birthday spent in the big sand box aka Iraq... which are much different then the birthdays of his youth which always took place at the swimming pool

if you would like to send him birthday wishes his address is:

Annehurst Baby

This afternoon baby frank got to go to Annehurst pool... the pool that i grew up at, swam at, coached at, worked at and basically lived at in high school. We met Katie Goggin and Ethan at the pool and had a wonderful afternoon with them. Baby frank modeled his new swim trunks for grandma and grandpa Hayes before we left for the pool... and I may be biased but i think he looks super cute with his little belly!

looks like he is going to be a butterflyer!

Grandma and Grandpa Hartge

On Sunday the grandparents Hartge met us for dinner at the Hoover Grill then came over to my parents house to play more with baby frank. He was so silly and loved seeing all his grandparents again and of course being the center of attention as usual.

he stole grandpa's live strong bracelet
the bracelet was yummy
what a big boy

So Many Toys

Between the hand-me downs from my co-workers, Brody Mahovlic and the toys Grandma Hayes found at garage sales baby frank has more toys then any little boy would know what to do with. Here are pictures of him in his exersaucer that Brody gave him... as you can see it is a lot of fun... so much so i think i want one for myself!

So much fun!
such a happy boy

Good Bye St. Jude

I wanted to put up a picture of my lab that I worked in for the past 2.5 years while at St. Jude. I had a wonderful time working there and I learned so much. I will miss them all dearly. I made such good friends with many of my co-workers that it was sad to finally leave.
